Student support

Every child, known and supported.

How we support

Confidence and achievement, for every learner.

Special education

Our special education teacher, Sara Nasibi, works with classroom teachers to put the right supports in place for each child’s unique needs.

Literacy support

Our literacy specialist helps every reader build skills and confidence, and helps everyone feel successful.

Social-emotional learning

Students learn how to make friends, talk about feelings and work through challenges, in small groups and in the classroom.

Independence & maturity

Even kindergarteners have their own lockers and hang up their own jackets, small routines that build independence.

Smooth transitions

Close ties with Shalom Early Childhood, MESA’s sister school, help our youngest learners start school ready and confident.

Partnership with parents

Parent workshops and parent groups share practical ways to support routines, transitions and communication at home.

She helps everyone feel successful.
