Our first graders celebrated a milestone every Jewish child remembers: receiving their very own siddur. Standing proudly beneath blue and gold balloons, they received the siddurim they will daven from each morning.
At MESA, students learn proper Sephardic keriah, tefillah and ta’amim so they can join seamlessly in the life of our synagogues. The siddur celebration marks the moment that learning becomes truly their own.
